Momentum Builds: State Rep. Gloria Johnson Endorses Vincent Dixie for Congress

NASHVILLE, TN  — The momentum behind State Representative Vincent Dixie’s campaign for Congress continues to grow as State Representative Gloria Johnson, a member of the “Tennessee Three” and nationally recognized advocate for democracy and working families, announced her endorsement.

“For years, Vincent Dixie has focused on what matters to families: a roof over their heads, food on the table and earning a decent living,” said Rep. Johnson. “I agree completely and I know Vincent will stand up and fight for all Tennessee families.”

Rep. Johnson’s endorsement marks another major boost in Dixie’s campaign ahead of the October 7th Democratic primary. Johnson, who captured national attention for her courage on the House floor after the Covenant School tragedy, has become one of Tennessee’s most trusted progressive leaders.
